There will be a full closure of CO 115 on the ramp to eastbound US 50 beginning today in Penrose. Detour signage will be posted to route motorists to CO 120 to access eastbound US 50.

Chip sealing in Westcliffe is scheduled to occur during the entire month of June on multiple streets.

9 am BOCC meeting in the Commissioner’s Boardroom in the Admin Building, 615 Rosita Avenue, Westcliffe. According to their agenda, at the end of the meeting the commissioners will go into executive to discuss a personnel issue concerning Clifford Brown, the director of Public Health.

The first Westcliffe Farmer’s Market of the season is starting this Friday, June 7th from 9am to 1pm. Bob Reed and Jack Naff will be playing at this 17th Anniversary event.

 

The Silver Cliff Tractor Pull is this weekend June 8th & 9th at the Silver Cliff Park. Weigh-in is from 8- 10 on Saturday with the Pull at 11 for spectators. On Sunday, weigh-in is from 8-9 with the Pull at 10 am.  

 

Valley Ace is celebrating the 100th year anniversary of Ace Hardware on June 29th from 11am to 2pm. Local groups and nonprofit organizations are invited to take part and can set up a display table. Call Chloe at 651-491-0442 to arrange placement.
