TOMORROW – Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 1pm and 4pm, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66º. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK – Cool and unsettled weather remains in the coming days and through the end of the work week, with daily chances for showers and generally weak thunderstorms expected across south central and southeast Colorado. The best coverage of showers and storms will be over the higher terrain, where light snow accumulations will be possible on the higher peaks above 12,000 feet.

CUSTER COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT

The Custer County Conservation District is pleased to announce its Annual Meeting will be Thursday, October 12th. This year the meeting and dinner will be held at All Aboard Westcliffe located at 110 Rosita Avenue in Westcliffe.

Doors open at 5:30, dinner at 6pm. The meal will be a home-cooked brisket dinner catered by the Custer County Cattle Women. The evening will also feature several presentations of interest to the district’s landowners.

The Custer County Conservation District is a government entity encompassing nearly all of the unincorporated private lands of Custer County.
