Paving continues this week for the eastbound lane to mile marker 26 on CO96. How far APC gets will depend on the weather. This operation is called a leveling course and once they get to mile marker 26, they will turn and head west to mile marker 0. Additionally, they will be installing concrete water inlets at mile marker 19.

There are width restrictions of 12 feet in place for the rest of this week. Travelers will experience a single lane closure between mile marker 17 and mile marker 19 during working hours 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

If you’re heading West on Hwy 50 toward Monarch Pass May through the end of June, you’ll encounter road work east of Maysville, Mile Marker 212. Daytime work hours range from 7am – 7pm Monday through Friday. Single-lane, alternating traffic in either direction, and may have up to 15-minute delays. Reduced speed limit throughout the work zone.
