TODAY – A 30% chance of snow showers, mainly after 3 pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 36º. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west-northwest in the afternoon.

TONIGHT – A 30% chance of snow showers before midnight. Some thunder is also possible. Mostly cloudy, with a low of around 15º. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

TOMORROW – Mostly sunny, with a high near 42º. West wind 5 to 15 mph.

Additional snowfall will likely continue the theme of easier-to-trigger avalanches on leeward, wind-loaded slopes at upper elevations. But, warm, pre-storm temperatures at lower elevations combined with wet, new snow will likely improve bonding at the new-old snow surface.

Danger levels are considerable near and above the treeline but, you’ll find moderate danger levels below the treeline.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. You can get the latest road conditions by calling 511.
