TODAY’S AVALANCHE FORECAST
In the Sangre De Cristo District, the chances of avalanche today are considerable at all levels of the mountain range. Dangerous conditions will last into the weekend. It will be easy for people to trigger an avalanche large enough to bury, injure, or kill a person for a few days after this storm.
Every Thursday, and as-needed by special arrangement, Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center will pick you up at CCHC at noon, drive you to HRRMC’s main campus in Salida for any specialist appointments, tests or services and drive you back to CCHC by 5pm.
