2 pm Westcliffe Planning Commission meets to continue the discussion of the master plan at Town Hall, 1000 Main Street, Westcliffe.

  • The Silver Cliff Cemetery clean-up day is May 22, at 8 am at 1435 Mill Street. Bring your tools: weed-eaters, mowers, rakes, chainsaws, etc. Lunch will be provided.
  • Beckwith Volunteers are seeking gift certificates of up to $20.00 from food vendors in town to make a Best of Westcliffe basket for the Silent Auction at the Beckwith Ranch Roundup on June 1st. Anything from coffee shops, bakeries, or restaurants is welcome. Contact:

Local artisan Bill Finch is offering a kitchen knife demonstration at the West Custer County Library. Bill will share his extensive knowledge of knives: how to maintain and sharpen knives, how to clean them, and what not to do with knives.
